Innova Hydra
SPEED, GLIDE, TURN, FADE
For those of us who can’t bear to see an errant putt literally float away, there was the Hydra, the stable to overstable putt and approach disc that could float in water. It started its life designated as a Multi Purpose disc for short drives and approaches in only DX plastic (4/3/-1/1 flight ratings). About a year after its introduction, its flight ratings were amended to 4/3/0/2. Then, a year after that its flight ratings were adjusted again to 3/3/0/2, which is what it remained for the remainder of its stock life. In 2010, DX plastic was swapped out for the softer and grippier R-Pro plastic.

Innova JK Aviar
Looking for something that compares to the Hydra? Consider the Innova JK Pro Aviar, which is still in production: Although the JK Aviar does not float (Innova no longer produces a floating putter), it does fly in a similar stable to overstable fashion. It’s got similar grip to the R-Pro plastic as well.
