Innova Aviar XD
How do you make an Aviar better …? Add some letters at the end of its name. Well, that may not have been what Innova was thinking, but after the Aviar made a splash as the world’s first disc designed for putting, the Aviar XD, (XD meaning Extra Distance) was released, becoming the game’s first midrange disc. Later, the Aviar was dropped from its name and it was retooled (1990) to the more stable XD that so many disc golfers know well today.

Innova Colt
Looking for something that compares to the Aviar XD? Consider the Innova Colt, which is still in production: The Colt is a low profile putt and approach disc similar to our XD or Classic Roc. It is a fairly straight flyer, that can also perform well for slow turnover shots that don’t come crashing back.
