The Starfire received a second life (SL) of sorts the same year it became a stock model in 2006. The Starfire Long or SL was a retooled version of the Starfire that was built with more glide, more high speed turn, and less fade, which really opened up the deep threat for a lot more players. It was made available in Star and Pro plastic, but similar to the FL, the Pro edition was still stamped Starfire. Not sure the reasoning behind that one.
