Innova Apple
The Apple wins the award for the only Innova disc with a food related name (A very coveted award, by the way). Unveiled 13 years before Innova’s modern day Ultimate disc, the Pulsar, the Apple had remarkable overstability – more so than other Ultimate discs of its day. However, it had trouble gaining the acceptance of the Ultimate community.
Fun Fact: The Apple had very deep grooves along the flight plate. So much so, it wasn’t unheard-of to break a fingernail during a catch.
